Emma's earliest memory is looking behind the family TV and asking her Mum "how the people got inside the box, because (she) wanted to be in there too." She trained at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, graduating in 2005 to work on  SPOOKS, DOCTORS, and HOLBY CITY for the BBC.  Other work includes employment with The Discovery Channel, Canal Plus in France, and most recently playing Princess Margaret in Channel 5's CONSPIRACY.  In theatre, Emmy has performed at the Manchester Royal Exchange, Library Theatre Manchester (HOME), and Darwen Library Theatre,  in addition to London venues. Emma has garnered a strong portfolio in the arena of British cinema: which is her passion. In 2013 she played the antagonist 'Dionyza' in a feature film of Shakespeare's PERICLES, followed by the thriller SIMON, and a supporting role in BAFTA winner Jane Linfoot's, BFI funded THE INCIDENT in 2014.   In early 2015 she completed the lead role of manipulative, man-eater 'Charlie' in the approaching-30-coming-of-age drama LOCK IN, and recently wrapped a main role on Joshua Daly's debut feature film, INFIRMUS. Emma also has a secondary career as a writer; her first project THE SMOKE  sold to ITV Productions in 2012, on a co-production agreement with her company Smoulder Productions.  Through Smoulder, Emma is currently developing the screenplay LOVE AND OTHER INCONVENIENCES; her second project and first feature film. Born in a small Lancashire market town, raised in Liverpool and later Manchester; Emma is a true Northern lass, this means she makes a darn good cuppa tea on set…
