Eve was born in Aberdeen and trained at RADA where fellow students included Harold Pinter and Rachel Roberts. She has appeared with the RSC, the National Theatre, Almeida, Arcola and in many major provincial theatres with leading roles in RICHARD II, ROMEO & JULIET, NICHOLAS NICKLEBY, LES LIAISONS DANGEREUSES and in a trio of Ostrovsky plays, THE FOREST, THE STORM and A FAMILY AFFAIR. Her many television credits range from ZCARS, SOFTLY SOFTLY and DOCTOR FINLAY'S CASEBOOK through leading roles in POIROT, GREAT EXPECTATIONS, FALL OF EAGLES amongst many others and coming up to date with appearances in GETTING ON, HOLBY, HIM & HER, BORN & BRED and as guest lead in a highlight episode of TORCHWOOD. Film credits include, QUIETUS, SEASON OF MISTS, MIRRORMASK (Jim Henson), the lead role of Anne Bream in THE LAKE and as mother of W G Gilbert in Mike Leigh's TOPSY TURVY. Eve has her own one woman show, is a published poet and a regular member of Sadler's Wells based dance troupe Company of Elders. She's also appeared as a featured performance artist with the Clod Ensemble and with Ursula Martinez.
