Yorkshire born and bred, Amy gained a first class degree in English, Drama and Education at Cambridge University before training at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, where Amy graduated in July, 2015. She has various professional screen and stage credits, including After the Dance (National Theatre), Henry VI (Rose Theatre) and Holby City (BBC). Whilst training, Amy played Ophelia in Hamlet, Siobhan in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, and The Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland. She was also a nominee for the Laurence Olivia Bursary Award. In the new year, Amy will be appearing as Samantha Shaw in Kiss Me Quickstep at the New Vic Theatre, Stephen Joseph Theatre and Oldham Coliseum. Amy speaks French and Russian, Rides Horses, Scuba Dives, Skis and plays the ukulele - if necessary, all at the same time!
