Yolanda Vazquez was born in the province of Cadiz in the south of Spain and moved to England at the age of ten. She studied at ‘The Drama Centre London’ under the auspices of Yat Malgrem and Chritopher Fettes and on graduating began her career playing Juliet at the Royal Theatre Northampton. Since then she has worked extensively in Theatre, Television, Film and Radio. Her credits include: Gertrudis in Hamlet– Teatro Español, Titania in Midsummer Night’s Dream – RSC, Beatrice in Much Ado about Nothing – Shakespeare’s Globe, Bunty Mainwaring in The Vortex – Citizens’ Theater, The Air Up There, Notting Hill, Any Human Heart, Pinochet in Suburbia, Catherine of Aragon – Book Of The week BBC4, among many others.
