Aoibheann’s most recent role was Mrs Cheveley in Ethan McSweeny’s production of “An Ideal Husband” at The Gate Theatre, Dublin. Other leading theatre credits for the Dublin born actress include Lydia Languish in “The Rivals” (The Abbey Theatre, Dublin), Sylvia in “Everybody Loves Sylvia” (Project Arts Centre, Dublin) and Mabel Chiltern in Neil Bartlett’s production of “An Ideal Husband” (The Abbey Theatre, Dublin) for which she was nominated for an Irish Times Theatre Award for Best Supporting Actress. She went on tour with The Gate Theatre, Dublin’s production of “Hayfever” to the Spoleto Festival in Charleston, South Carolina. Her film work includes “Aeon Flux” and a German language Romcom. Aoibheann has also done voiceover work for the animation company Brown Bag/Ice House Studio. She graduated from both Trinity College, Dublin and ALRA, London and speaks fluent German.
