Sophie has just finished a triumphant run playing Prospero in The Tempest at the Royal & Derngate Theatre in Northampton (4 & 5 Star reviews), to mark not only the Shakespeare 400 celebrations, but also the National youth Theatre's 60th year. As a former member of the NYT, Sophie trained on the job with an assortment of the industry’s finest directors and teachers, Wildworks, Headlong and Salida Productions to name a few. Whilst training she took on three roles in rep at the Ambassador Theatre, these being Lady Macbeth in ‘Macbeth’ directed by Ed Hughes, Nipper in ‘Private Peaceful’ directed by Paul Hart and Lottie in ‘Selfie’ an adaption of ‘A Picture of Dorian Grey’ directed by Paul Roseby. Sophie is also an accomplished singer.
