Overview
John was born in the East End of London and trained at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, earning his BA Acting degree in 2022. In his graduating year, he was a finalist in the annual Spotlight Prize, being one of just 19 actors selected from across the UK. John gravitates towards the works of Shakespeare and gritty British drama, both on the small and big screens. He has a very strong movement and stage combat background, ranging from competing in Football at a semi-professional level, to participating in Boxing, Weightlifting and Martial Arts (he is currently studying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu). John is also a lover of Snooker, Poetry and Japanese culture, with hopes of visiting Japan in the near future.
