Johann grew up in the United States and Germany, allowing him to nurture his bilingualism and multicultural background, as well as his comfort in traveling the globe. The arts have always played a crucial role in Johann’s life – for example, he has been playing the cello at a pre-professional level for almost 15 years. Discovering his passion for Shakespeare and the theatre whilst a high school student in Germany, Johann returned to the US for his studies, earning his BA in Stage & Screen Acting and graduating Magna Cum Laude and with University Honors from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV). He returned yet again to Europe to further his training at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London, completing his MA in July of 2020. During his training, he performed as Romeo in Romeo & Juliet, Luke in Mosquitoes, and Richard in Richard III, alongside other productions. Johann is an avid traveler and aviation photographer. He prefers spending his free time at 38,000 feet, connecting his home bases of London, Las Vegas, and Karlsruhe, Germany.
