From Limerick, Maeve studied Theatre Studies in Trinity College. She is a Licentiate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and graduated from GMIT where she studied “Television Production and Development”. Maeve has a Masters in Media Studies from MaryI/UL. Maeve was Joint Winner of the Irish Times Theatre Award Judges' Special Award 2015. Film credits include playing Mary in the Oscar nominated Brooklyn. Also, Cowboys & Angels,and Gold in the Streets. Short Films include Upgrade, Vanner, Through his Eyes, Stamp, Who needs Enemies, Buddy and The Normandy Express. TV credits include Ros na Rún (TG4), Mother me Daughter (ITV), Fair City (RTE), Radio Waves (BBC) and Ballykissangel (BBC). Maeve performed in "Last Year" a play written for her by Gavin Kostick as part of "Show in a Bag". Theatre credits include Treasures, Tea Set, A Woman of No Importance (The Abbey Theatre), Semi-Private, Mrs. Klein, The Plough and the Stars (Second Age) and Red Square.
